Seasonal availability
Our beds run on the weather, not a calendar. Tomatoes and cucumbers come on strong in the heat; peppers and eggplant carry us later.

The stand out front
We only pick what's ready, so this list changes almost every day. That's the whole point of it.
🌿 Our Story
Our family's story began on the beautiful island of Dominica, where growing fresh food has always been a way of life. Later, our family made our home in St. Croix, and when we eventually settled in Buford, Georgia, one tradition came with us—my mom's love of gardening.
For as long as I can remember, she has found joy in growing fresh vegetables. Every morning, you'll find her outside tending to her garden with patience, love, and care. She enjoys cooking meals with ingredients picked just steps from her back door because she believes there's nothing better than sharing fresh, homegrown food with the people you love. Nothing makes her happier than preparing a meal with vegetables picked from the garden just moments before they're served.
Some of our family's favorite memories have been made right there in the garden.
Every growing season, Grandma welcomes her grandchildren to help plant, water, weed, and harvest. Along the way, she's teaching them patience, hard work, and the simple joy of growing something with your own hands.
She hopes these moments help them appreciate where food comes from and inspire them to one day grow gardens of their own.
For years, she's shared her extra harvest with neighbors, often knocking on doors with bags of fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, green onions, and whatever else the garden had to offer. She never wanted good food to go to waste, and sharing it has always brought her happiness.
After she retired, I encouraged her to share her harvest with even more neighbors while earning a little extra income doing something she truly loves — something that could help support her retirement while continuing to do what she loves every day. That's how Romain Family Garden was born.
Everything we offer is fresh, local, homegrown, and seasonal. We harvest only when nature says it's ready, so what's available changes throughout the season—but every vegetable is grown with care and picked by hand.
Whether you're stopping by for today's harvest or joining our Harvest Alerts, thank you for supporting our family's garden. We hope every visit feels like stopping by Grandma's house for something fresh from the garden.
From Our Garden to Yours,
The Romain Family
❤️ The heart of the garden
That's her — out at the beds most mornings before the heat sets in, usually holding something she's proud of.
She's been growing food since Dominica, and after all these years the best part is still giving it away. If you stop by, expect to leave with a little more than you came for.
